Does anyone use a IV lamp or laser phototherapy at home. Has it been successful? Which one do you use? Can you please share a link
Yes have bought dermfix for my son. Have only been using it for a few days now. The instructions manual is very limited. Does anyone else use it. Some tips will be great
I went to a dermatologist for something else, showed them the small white spot under my arm, she said you have Vitiligo, put this ointment on. It may help, but it will be slow. That was it - Nothing… read more
I would like a concealer to blend with my foundation on my face especially around my mouth and neck.
I used to wear dermablend foundation and it gives good coverage. But now that I’m older and I don’t like to wear anything cakey or heavy on my face.
My insurance denied. I appealed and they are now sending prescription. Told them it's the only thing that has helped. In the meantime, derm gave me two 5g sample tubes, which will last a while, so… read more
If anyone would be so kind as to answer this question. I know everyone’s spots are different and unique, but was just getting a sense of an idea on what’s going on with my hands. Yes! I started looking on pinterest and found people that enhanced their face with makeup. Not full face but eyes and lipsticks and it helps!
I realize it takes from 6-7 months to see any changes, But I need realistic results that work. And not cause more damage to my skin. I would appreciate your feedback.
Thank You...have a Blessed Day👍🏾😁
Rhonda hello. My occurrences happened a decade ago. I still see minor outbreaks. What helped me maybe different for you.
Hang in there.
So true first world problem....as part of a performance award in my corporate role, will get to go to a resort in Mexico. I ought to be thrilled. Yet, my anxiety over how to not be "the weird one" and avoid the sun on the beach while trying to be part of the group has me a bit stressed. Self imposed anxiety, right? Anyone else have universal vitiligo and try to "fit in" on a flipping beach? Lol...
Aside from concerns about sun exposure as somone else mentioned, which is valid, I agree with others on the importance of not letting your condition limit you from social events. A counselor offered… read more
