Hello Kris,

I am very sorry for your loss.
Stress is known to trigger our vitiligo spreading. Certainly with me this has been the case. I can trace most all my spots to stressful events at different times.
Highly recommend you prioritize getting 8hrs sleep each night.
Also, take very good care of yourself. Be around supportive and loving people whenever possible and avoid those who stress you out if possible.
Walk, get fresh air and eat well. Take part in things things you enjoy.
For me, prayer helps more than anything.

It's good to reach out here whenever you need the comfort of fellow vitiligo folks.

Best to you,
Jackie

Hi,
Yes, stress plays a major part in the flare up. A death in the family is one of the acute grief and stress trigger. I hope you can try and cope with the grief with some meditation which hugely calms the mind and hence hinders the spread.
God Bless❤️
