Has Anyone Tried Dermahealer NBUVB Lamp?
I am currently using UV light along with a cream and I am seeing results from going 3 times a week!
Hi Kacie. I have that same question does home light therapy work.
I think the only thing that really works is the UVB light. It's very time-consuming because you have to go to the dermatologist's office 2-3 times a week. I did get a bad rash on my back and eventually stopped the treatment. I have a drawer full of creams, etc. Vitamins are a toss-up (sales gimmick), but the light is the most effective. The creams did help prevent the spread of the vitiligo but didn't bring back pigment. I am well into my senior years, will never wear a bathing suit again, and am not as concerned as I was 30 years ago. 100% stay out of the sun...it is brutal. It's certainly kept the wrinkles away, and for that, I am grateful!
I did clinic UVB therapy with a steroid cream, then eventually purchased a UVB light for home use. It’s very labor intensive and I eventually gave up on this. Opzulera has been a better option for me but I still have many, many spots of vitiligo
Has anyone had success with a home light unit?
