What can help when vitiligo is itching?

My pcp prescribed Hydrocortisone ointment it was mild itch before but recently i had intense itching on my vitiligo patches that became like rash even hydrocortisone didn't help dermatologist prescribed mometasone furoate cream 0.1% ,used it on effected areas for 3,4 days . It's good now
