I have some pale patches I'm not sure are vitiligo. Doc said to use opzelura on them and that it won't harm the healthy skin, but is that right? I asked AI (Gemini), and it said opzelura can lighten healthy skin. Plus, opzelura is expensive, and I don't want to waste a precious ounce on pale but healthy skin. I have a black light but am having trouble distinguishing vitiligo from healthy skin. Everything seems to fluoresce.

Has anyone else noticed this when living or visiting a place close to the ocean?
When I left the Army, I had only two spots the size of a dime and nickel on the inside of my thighs. Now I my entire body is covered in vitiligo.
I am currently using that cream along with my light treatments. Been doing it for about 4 months I can tell my face is improving but that is all so far.
