No, I believe it is a myth that your diet affects your vitiligo spots, but if you are unable to be out in the sun please make sure you consume sunny vitamins! It is really important to get vitamin D in your system.

Hi Froggipool, I thought this for a very long time, but the more I look into how the guts 'microbiome' and affect on overall health, my views are significantly shifting.

If what we eat leaves us fealing, hungry, tired, in pain etc then it is a good idea to look at the ingredients which could be causing a reaction or inflamation.

There is little evidence to date to say or prove that diet causes, changes, or affects Vitiligo but there is nothing to lose by making a diet as healthy and as body friendly as possible and which does not leave us feeling terrible (Celiac disease and Crohn's disease/IBS etc)

Medical Professionals and researchers already know that autoimmune diseases are very complex, they are also starting to learn the possible affects of the guts microbiome and it's role in overall health and immune system functionality. There is research going on in this area.
