I was told by a family member that getting tats can cause spreading?? I have a sleeve and several other tats but never noticed spread due to tats or that i noticed. I have how ever noticed it spreads under them but not covering them, Anyone here got a opinion ?? for years ive said i was going cover my spots with tats but at this point its spread to much . I already had tattoos also. But I can not get tattoos on mind. Because if they stick a needle on my white patches it get a redness. They doctor told me not to let anyone doctor stick a needle in my white patches because it irritates my skin and redness and rash. People are different. You won’t know unless you try.

I don't have any either, I guess I don't have the nerve to go through that. I don't do well with pain but I agree with aliciaroufs...."Go For It'. P S. My Brother in law doesn't have vitiligo but he has a sleeve and a boat load of tats. 😀

I have a half sleeve but at this point gonna go for full sleeves on both arms , probably hands too, when I have the money. So little pigment left on arms and hands anyway, unless my doctor thinks it’ll cause more problems.

I have several tattoos and had one done specifically around a patch on my inner arm. I actually get a lot of compliments on it because the color difference makes it interesting. My take is vitiligo is going to spread regardless. The tattoos give me confidence and a way to talk about my spots without the normal embarrassment I feel.

As u can see....it just actually fades ink away....hang in their...Ived had it all my life... recently the ones around my eyes started coming out...stress... worries..anger... blablablabla...then I noticed my so call other have changing her attitude and feelings tors me...maybe that was a reason for her to leave me...wa wa...it wasn't ment to be...
