Vitiligo is an autoimmune disorder. Mine started with just a few spots on the back of my hands and my knees. It has paused, receded and now is speckled in my mid back and splotchy on my arms, chest and top of my feet. I am grateful it is not life threatening.

@A MyVitiligoTeam Member Is the opposite true too? If you are not under stress for a long period of time, do the spots recover or shrink?

Stress can be a trigger. Anytime I’m under more stress than usual, my vitiligo seems to spread or appear in new places.
