Martial Arts And Vitiligo
A MyVitiligoTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

Does anyone know anything on the effects of martial arts training and vitiligo. My daughter who has vitiligo has shown an interest in Taekwondo. My experience of Karate was that next day after a session it was where did you get bruised and count the number. Forearms were always susceptible since they were used to block kicks and punches

Does getting hit trigger vitiligo? And does hitting things cause vitiligo?

Just having pressure applied to my forearms triggered vitiligo.

No getting hit won’t trigger vitiligo.
