I’m wondering what other conditions people got after being diagnosed with vitiligo. Or before for that matter. I’ve seen some discussions of psoriasis. What other conditions did you get? Did they come before or after the vitiligo?

If anyone would be so kind as to answer this question. I know everyone’s spots are different and unique, but was just getting a sense of an idea on what’s going on with my hands. Even though this can be different for everyone, this helps me get a bit calm in understanding how it happened to others, plus I LOVE hearing everyone’s story about how it started with vitiligo. I was just diagnosed with V last week after having the pigmentation problem for a probably 5 or so years. Earlier this year, I requested a full thyroid panel because I was experiencing hypothyroid-esque symptoms. The only thing to come back abnormal (and it was very mild) was my T3. It was low. Therefore, they diagnosed me with Euthyroid Sick Syndrome. I’ve been taking 10mcg of Cytomel and have since felt better

I’ve had vitiligo for 51 years and my skin is all white. Now I’m starting to get brown spots on my face and arms. I went to the dermatologist and she said it was my brown skin coming back! 😳 Wow!
It finally took me all theses years to turn all white and now my skin wants to be brown again! I just can’t catch a break. I’ve used skin bleach but want to use a natural way to fade the brown spots any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

Yes! I started looking on pinterest and found people that enhanced their face with makeup. Not full face but eyes and lipsticks and it helps!
My son has various medical conditions the one that bothers him the most which doesn't affect him the same as his health is his vitiligo due to how cruel others can be. His vitiligo has progressed very quickly. Is there any tips or advice to help him see he is beautiful no matter what others may say.
