Does anyone know anything on the effects of martial arts training and vitiligo. My daughter who has vitiligo has shown an interest in Taekwondo. My experience of Karate was that next day after a session it was where did you get bruised and count the number. Forearms were always susceptible since they were used to block kicks and punches
Does getting hit trigger vitiligo? And does hitting things cause vitiligo?

I have a pool, even when not swimming it seems
Impossible to apply SB so frequently.
The cost will be monumental and that’s all I’ll be doing, putting on SB.
So I then to stay indoors and go out when the sunsets.
The SB gets in my eyes and I hate the way it feels
On my skin.

Why isn't everyone with vitiligo on the oral medication? Can I order it and get it sent to Australia?
My son has various medical conditions the one that bothers him the most which doesn't affect him the same as his health is his vitiligo due to how cruel others can be. His vitiligo has progressed very quickly. Is there any tips or advice to help him see he is beautiful no matter what others may say.

If anyone would be so kind as to answer this question. I know everyone’s spots are different and unique, but was just getting a sense of an idea on what’s going on with my hands. Even though this can be different for everyone, this helps me get a bit calm in understanding how it happened to others, plus I LOVE hearing everyone’s story about how it started with vitiligo.
