Iām wondering what other conditions people got after being diagnosed with vitiligo. Or before for that matter. Iāve seen some discussions of psoriasis. What other conditions did you get? Did they come before or after the vitiligo?

I was told this by two doctors that Vitiligo is a fungus -I was also told by a dermatologist that is also associated and related to Hypo Thyroidism -Does anyone else have any information on this ? Are both Autoimmune issues too? Any feedback greatly appreciated

While it may not be a fungus, I have experiened a higher susceptibility to fungal infections on my skin. It makes me wonder if skin biome composition interacts with fungus differently

Yes! I started looking on pinterest and found people that enhanced their face with makeup. Not full face but eyes and lipsticks and it helps!
If anyone would be so kind as to answer this question. I know everyoneās spots are different and unique, but was just getting a sense of an idea on whatās going on with my hands. Even though this can be different for everyone, this helps me get a bit calm in understanding how it happened to others, plus I LOVE hearing everyoneās story about how it started with vitiligo. This helps me not feel so alone with this next chapter of vitiligo.

Iāve had vitiligo for 51 years and my skin is all white. Now Iām starting to get brown spots on my face and arms. I went to the dermatologist and she said it was my brown skin coming back! š³ Wow!
It finally took me all theses years to turn all white and now my skin wants to be brown again! I just canāt catch a break. Iāve used skin bleach but want to use a natural way to fade the brown spots any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

I was told by a family member that getting tats can cause spreading?? I have a sleeve and several other tats but never noticed spread due to tats or that i noticed. I have how ever noticed it spreads under them but not covering them, Anyone here got a opinion ?? for years ive said i was going cover my spots with tats but at this point its spread to much . I got vaccinated in May 2021 with my first dose and by the end of July 2021, I noticed a sudden flare up and rapid progression.
I don't know if it is because of the vaccine because I was on antibiotics for a month in June.
This also raises another question, has anyone noticed increase in their vitiligo post/during the use of antibiotics?
