In my experience- men have loved it lol, no weird darkness and we always look clean. Mine goes up my buttcrack but can only be seen if you spread my cheeks. Basically I have a permanent bleached bumhole. Which is always appreciated. Iβve had more compliments than complaints, I actually have never had a complaint.

How can someone start the conversation about vaginal vitiligo with a partner without scaring them off?
It's completely understandable to feel nervous about this β but know that you're far from alone in feeling this way. Many people with vitiligo share this exact concern.
The good news is that being open and honest often brings people closer together rather than pushing them apart. Here are some tips to help:
- Keep it simple β explain that vitiligo is not contagious and doesn't cause pain or discomfort
- Choose a calm, relaxed moment β not right before intimacy, so there's no pressure
- Frame it as sharing something personal β not a warning or a big deal
- Invite questions β letting them ask freely helps ease any awkwardness As one MyVitiligoTeam member wisely put it, "If you talk to the other person beforehand it's a lot easier." Another shared, "Don't let vitiligo stop you from dating β the ones who don't see past it are not worth our time πͺπ»."
Someone who truly cares about you will appreciate your honesty. And if the conversation feels too overwhelming, a therapist can help build confidence before having it.
