Since its founding in 2011, World Vitiligo Day has become a global event with the purpose of raising awareness of vitiligo. In the U.S., World Vitiligo Day now spans an entire weekend in which people with vitiligo come together to connect, celebrate, and learn more about their condition. This year, over 250 members of the vitiligo community gathered together in Atlanta, Georgia, from June 23 through 25.
