DOES VITILIGO INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF SKIN CANCER?
A MyVitiligoTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I have read articles within this site that has provided information stating that having vitiligo DOES NOT increase your chances of skin cancer. One of my daughters is treated by a dermatologist and has been told that Vitiligo ABSOLUTELY INCREASES your chances for skin cancer. Anyone else receive conflicting information regarding this same issue? if so, what was your supporting documents that helped you reach your conclusion? Thanks for sharing!

I have been seen by 2 dermatologists that specialize in vitiligo and was told that people with vitiligo have a much lower chance of getting skin cancer.
