At times I have struggled with the physical changes caused by vitiligo.I cried. Stressed my self out by trying to buy every kind of makeup and concealer to cover. Honestly I didn't even know I was in depression. I struggled with feelings of feeling ugly, different and wondered if my husband would continue to love me the same. Real talk. I almost fell to the enemy's plan to kill me. God turned it around for me with my faith, prayer, family and friends who love me. I grieved for my old face where I was always told that I was beautiful. IAM!!!!,Depression and negative thoughts intensified my self doubt. This platform and a few others who support vitiligo have helped me as well. You have to believe that you are still YOU. The changes in your skin DO NOT define who you are, or whose you are. You were designed perfectly by God.He made us perfect in His sight. Reach out for professional help or support if you need to. Mental illness, depression and anxiety are REAL. Your journey to self love and acceptance is yours. It takes time. I have good days now. There are a few triggers caused by other people, but I choose to not give them anything by responding to ignorance. Many of us on here know exactly what you feel. My prayers and hugs to you my sister.❤️❤️❤️
