I first had to use Tactrolimus and steroids. After using these and appealing, it was approved.

Mine accepted it right away (within 2 days of my dermatologist appointment, but I've tried other creams and he made that referral as well as it only works for non segmental vitiligo in less than 10 percent (that's what dermatologist told me) and I'm only using it in less than 10 percent even though I have more on my body. It has to be non segmental though according to Detmatologist and the conference I joined online for opzelura. Feel free to message me with any more questions! 😊

Thank you Michele!!! I will be working on that this next week. It seems so ridiculous but it’s worth the fight!

Mine denied it also. Dr office appealed the decision, I got a prior authorization, and it went through. Keep fighting!!
